As word spreads of Jim’s candidacy, his character, and his qualifications, we are receiving a phenomenal response. Here’s what they’re saying….
While the Tulsa World endorsed Jim, the Oklahoman endorsed his opponent. However they do agree on one thing, Scott Pruitt has his priorities in the wrong place. The World called Pruitt’s promise to sue the federal government, “a governmental snipe hunt.” The Oklahoman said “better to focus the office’s assets on state concerns.”
Ultimately, this Oklahoman article found Jim being practical, and his opponent being political.
Oklahoma Watchdog asked why Scott refuses to debate Jim. Here is what the Ada Evening News said after a debate Mr. Pruitt was supposed to attend, but didn’t.
Speaking of the blogosphere, Jim Traber’s website contained this discussion thread.
The Oklahoman and the World asked Mr. Pruitt to prove his claim that “I’ve tried cases.” Scott stuck to his story, but after in depth investigation, John Estes wrote: “Attorney General candidate Scott Pruitt never spoke to a jury at a 1994 civil trial his campaign cited last week as proof the candidate has jury trial experience. Pruitt, a Republican, was in the courtroom to assist another attorney in the case, which saw jurors rule against their client. A transcript of the trial shows Pruitt never presented arguments or evidence to the jury…… Pruitt’s campaign did not make him available for an interview.”
