College Announces New Director of Electronic Engineering Technology & Information Systems & Security Programs

April 27, 2010- El Paso, Texas- Western Technical College (WTC) recently announced Oscar Perez as the new Program Director for Electronic Engineering Technology (EET) and Information Systems & Security (ISS). Perez has attained both undergraduate and Master’s degrees from New Mexico State University in Electrical Engineering Technology and in Advanced Technology Education.
Perez has worked closely with local government agencies, universities, and electronic and computer industry agents including Boeing, Raytheon, the US Army Research Laboratory, White Sands Missile Range, and NASA. He holds the certifications in IPC J STD 001 Certified High Reliability Soldering Trainer, NASA NHB 8739.3 Certified Instructor (Level B), IPC 610 Certified, and ESD 20.20 Certified.
