Aggiornamento, color lithography of Christian symbols, will be coming to the Catholic Pastoral Center, 7501 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma, City, November 10 – 15, 2009. Werner Ritter of Frankfurt, Germany, calls his art for the faith Aggiornamento (adapting to current views—seeing traditional things in a new light). Ritter will be present for the entire exhibition which provides visitors the opportunity to visit with the artist.
The works of Werner Ritter—in large format and on canvas—obtain their effect from intense colors and the carving out of essential contents of their models. The exhibition is open to the public with free admission.
There will be a special event at the exhibit from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 15. A piano concert “Improvisation” will be presented by Mr. Robert Waldrop, music director from Epiphany parish. Let the masterpieces fascinate you while allowing yourself to be “moved” by the concert.
