Students still have time to register for the fall semester at The University of Texas at El Paso.
Late registration starts tomorrow and runs through Thursday, Aug. 27. Students can register by touchtone telephone at 915-545-1145 or by going online at https://my.utep.edu/newgoldmine.
Tuition payment for late registration ends Aug. 27.
Students can still apply for federal, state and university-based financial aid, including UTEP’s financial aid programs: the UTEP Promise, the UTEP Grant and the Guaranteed Tuition Plan. Students may apply for federal and state aid by visiting www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Students may also check the status of their financial aid, admissions and scholarships applications by using the UTEP Check Status Tools at http://mystatus.utep.edu. The tools are intended to provide students with real-time status information.
Parking permits are required for all UTEP parking lots. Prices range from $85-$272 for various parking zones for one year, including the University Parking Garage. Students also have the option to participate in UTEP’s carpool program at a discounted rate. Permits may be purchased online at http://parking.utep.edu/permits. Students may pay for their permit through the EasyPay installment plan, which is used to pay their tuition and fees. The permit is paid in five equal installments each semester. The first fall payment is due Tuesday, Sept. 1.
