BENEFIT GOLF TOURNAMENT HONORS THE MEMORY OF FORMER UCO DEBATE STUDENT

The University of Central Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts is seeking participants for the Tyler Henry Memorial Golf Tournament at 1:00 p.m., Monday, Aug. 24 at River Oaks Golf Club, 10909 Clubhouse Road, Edmond.Registration begins at noon for the four-person scramble with an awards ceremony/dinner following play at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $100 per player, with $25 of each registration directed to the Tyler Henry Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund through the University of Central Oklahoma Foundation.Henry was a former Central student and debate team member. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 22. The Tyler Henry Memorial Endowed Scholarship was created to honor Henry’s love for debate and to provide support for Central’s outstanding debate students. Tournament participants will also receive free-range balls and a chance to win raffle prizes and several contest prizes including a free vacation and $50,000.
