OKLAHOMA CITY – Revelers heading to Bricktown for the Bikes & Bricks Street Party that is part of the Club H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) 26th Annual Rally should also stop by the 2009 Oklahoma Homebuyer Expo. In conjunction with National Homeownership Month, the 2009 Oklahoma Homebuyer Expo scheduled for Saturday at the Coca Cola Bricktown Events Center in Downtown Oklahoma City will connect potential homebuyers to the resources they need to purchase a home this year. Information on down payment assistance and the $8,000 homebuyer tax credit will be provided. Lenders, builders, Realtors, and non-profits will be on hand to share their expertise, products and services. The Oklahoma Homebuyer Expo will be open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The come-and-go event is free to the public. Two lucky attendees will win a brand-new refrigerator and washer and dryer, donated by the Oklahoma Mortgage Bankers Association and Lowe’s.
