Oklahoma City, OK (June 2, 2008) – Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® offers several fun FREE events this week in celebration of Bellobrationsm!
 
Tuesday • June 3 • 7:00 am • Animal Walk • Reno to Cox Convention Center
Watch the animals walk from the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds east on Reno Avenue to the Cox Convention Center. Along the way the Oklahoma City Fire Department will cool down the elephants with an Elephant Bath at Reno & Agnew between 7:30 am and 8:00 am.
 
Thursday • June 5 • 12 noon • Collaborative Painting • Ford Center Plaza
Asia, the painting pachyderm, will paint a canvas while onlookers watch. Then Native American (Arapaho) artist Brent Learned, an impressionist painter from Oklahoma, will complete the painting at his booth No. 211 at the Red Earth Festival this weekend at the Cox Convention Center. This one-of-a-kind final masterpiece will be donated to the Red Earth Museum. Learned trained in fine art at the University of Kansas. His works have been exhibited in such noted institutions as the Smithsonian Institute, National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, the Eiteljorg Museum and numerous galleries.
 
Thursday • June 5 • 12 noon • Elephant Brunch • Ford Center Plaza
Following the collaborative painting, watch several Ringling elephants munch on fresh fruits and breads. What a sight to see!
 
Friday • June 6 • 10:30 am • Red Earth Festival Parade • Cox Convention Center
Bello Nock, comic daredevil and star of Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey presents Bellobration, along with Ringling clowns and dancers will join in the Red Earth Festival Parade.
