RANCHO SANTA FE, CALIF. – The UTEP men’s golf team tied for 10th place at the Callaway Invitational on Tuesday in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
The Miners shot rounds of 310, 306 and 307 for a two-day total of 923. Host San Diego was champion of the 12-team event (862).
Tanner Taff shot a 14-over-par 230, tying for 39th place to lead UTEP. Devin Miertschin and David Persons each carded a 231 (tied for 43rd place), Jerry Castrellon finished with 234 (tied for 55th) and Chris Ortiz landed 68th with 246.
