The “Pew Forum” recently presented the results of a survey done in 2007 in the United States, regarding its Religious Map.
The first place was taken by Mississippi, followed by Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Georgia.
The states that occupied the first places are mainly of Republican affiliation, conservative population, white race, and Protestants of faith, being the predominant religion Evangelic – Baptist and Methodist.
Curiously, these states considered members of “The Bible Belt”, are in fact, where there is more racism, intolerance, and hatred, and where extreme groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, The Skin Heads, The Militia, Ironmen and Minutemen operate in a notorious manner. Likewise in these states exists the strongest opposition to legalization and support for an Immigration Reform that would legalize millions of undocumented workers and stop the separation of families.
Another important observation is the fact that within the churches of ‘’The Bible Belt’’, pastors use their time and efforts to play politics and promote blind opposition to the government thru their movement the “Tea Party.” This political movement organizes rallies and demonizes President Obama, and blames him for all the maladies of this country criticizing, blindly, everything he does. It seems that the root of their discontent is the non acceptance of the fact that a black president has replaced their idol George W. Bush and that the Republican Party is no longer ruling the White House.
In these, so called, religious Protestant States, religious services have been used to brainwash worshipers to reject the badly needed health care, as well as, any help from the government which every tax paying Citizen is entitled .
From these states and these churches, has come out the most passionate support for the military involvements that have killed millions of human beings in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries. On Sundays, war is glamorized and tribute is rendered, to parents who have sons or daughters killing other human beings in those countries.
An important survey shows that from the approximate 800,000 Oklahomans, 60 %, of them watches, buys or uses pornographic products. My question is: How many of these folks who call themselves Christians are, actually, included in this report?
Personally, I got tired of church leaders asking soldier parents to stand up and be recognized for murdering other human beings. I got tired of them calling Obama the “Antichrist”. I got tired of being told that I do not need medical health care when I have diabetes. Also, I got tired of hearing the TV Evangelist from the program 800 Club, Pat Robertson, promoting the murdering of president Chavez and blaming Haiti earthquake victims, of being punished for their sins. I used to turn on my TV on Sundays to watch Pastor John Hague and other televangelists, but I stopped because they spend their time justifying war against Moslems and side blindly with Israel or they tell me to get my credit card to give them money.
In order not to be a hypocrite, be in peace with my soul and keep my communication with my Creator , I have decided to stay at home, reading my Bible, praising God in my own carnal temple, and give my tithing directly to my brothers in need.
Of course, not all preachers or all churches incur in these ungodly mentioned acts. We should acknowledge that there are out there some real servants of God like the motivator, Pastor Joel Osteen, and some great services like Love Worth Finding with Pastor Adrian Rogers that dedicate their worship to teach the word of God and not political agendas . To those servants of God, I send my respect and admiration.
To all the pseudo Christians from Oklahoma, and the other states mentioned, I say “You have to be, more Christians than what you pretend to be”. ! We must keep in mind that attending church is not going to save us, but the grace of God, the observance of the commandments, and our good dids! Amen!

¿SOMOS RELIGIOSOS DE VERDAD? SER MAS CHRISTIANO QUE PARECER
El “Pew Forum” presentó, recientemente, los resultados de una encuesta realizada en el 2007 en los Estados Unidos sobre el mapa religioso de los Estados Unidos.
El primer lugar lo ocupa Mississsippi, seguida por Alabama, Arkansas, Luisiana, Tennessee, Carolina del Sur, Oklahoma, Carolina del Norte y Georgia.
Estos estados que ocuparon los primeros lugares son de afiliación, primordialmente, republicana con una populación mayoritariamente conservadora, de raza blanca y de fe protestante, siendo las denominaciones predominantes la Evangélica –Bautista y la Metodista.
Curiosamente, en estos estados rurales, considerados “miembros de la correa de la Biblia”, son los estados donde existe más racismo, intolerancia y odio y donde los grupos extremistas del Flux Klan, Skin Heads, La milicia, Ironman y Minuteman se iniciaron y aún operan libremente. Igualmente, en estos estados existe la mas férrea oposición a una legalización y ayuda los hermanos inmigrantes.
Otra observación importante es que en las iglesias de estos estados nació el ´´Tea Party´´ que demoniza al presidente Obama, a quien culpan de todos los males del país y que echa tierra a todo lo que él hace, al parecer la oposición ciega es motivada por su falta de aceptación a un presidente de raza negra y por que el ´´endemoniado´´ presidente destronó a su ídolo George W. Bush.
Es de conocimiento común que en los ¨Estados de la unión americana, supuestamente más religiosos, muchos pastores de iglesias protestantes dedican gran parte de su tiempo para defender a las compañías aseguradoras y a las clases pudientes, lavando el cerebro a los feligreses para que rechacen al cuidado de salud que tan malamente necesitan.
De estos estados y de estas iglesias ha surgido el apoyo más vehemente a las guerras que han asesinado a millares de seres humanos en Kuwait, Irak, Afganistán, y otros países donde los domingos se glamoriza la guerra y se rinde homenaje a los padres de familia que tienen hijos asesinando a seres humanos en otros países.
Curiosamente, un importante encuesta señala que entre los, aproximadamente, un 60 % de seudo cristianos ve, compra o usa productos pornográficos; me pregunto cuantas de estas personas que se llaman cristianos están incluidos en ese reporte.
Yo, personalmente, me cansé de ver a líderes de iglesias exaltar la guerra, ya que en muchos servicios religiosos se pide a los padres de soldados que se encuentran asesinando a seres humanos en guerras que se pongan de pie para recibir reconocimiento. Me cansé de escuchar a pastores demonizar a al presidente diciendo que es el “Antictristo”. Me cansé de que me digan que no necesito cuidado médico ignorando que soy diabético.
Cuando dejé de asistir a las Iglesias empecé a ver los servicios religiosos por televisión, pero al escuchar al tele evangelista del programa 800 Millones, el belicoso y demente Pat Robertson, pidiendo que se asesine a presidentes de otros países y culpando a las víctimas del terremoto en Haití de haber sido castigados por sus pecados, o a John Hagen y otros pastores justificando las guerras contra Musulmanes, Palestinos y apoyando ciegamente los actos de violencia de los Israelitas, también me desilusioné de continuar esta practica de ejercer mi actividad religiosa .
Debo admitir que todavía hay buenos pastores como el gran Pastor Joel y programas como Love Worth Finding, donde las recaudaciones y la política no son las actividades más importantes en sus servicios.
Por supuesto, que existen miles de congregaciones y pastores que sirven a Dios como es debido y que usan el culto para predicar, exclusivamente, su palabra y que viven la fe a cabalidad; Para ellos vayan mis respetos y admiración.
A los seudo cristianos de Oklahoma y demás estados mencionados les digo que ´´hay que ser más que parecer´´ y que recuerden que la asistencia a la iglesia no les va a salvar sino, la gracia de Dios, el cumplimiento de los mandamientos y las buenas obras! Amen!
