TUCSON, ARIZ. – The UTEP men’s golf team finished 12th at the Arizona Invitational on Tuesday in Tucson.
The Miners compiled rounds of 296, 297 and 306 for a total of 899. California won the 14-team tournament, shooting 823 as a team.
Tanner Taff fired a four-over-par 217 (71-74-72), tying for 43rd place to lead UTEP. Devin Miertschin (73-75-77-225) and David Persons (78-69-78-225) tied for 58th place, Jerry Castrellon tied for 68th place (74-79-79-232) and Ross Rotwein landed 79th (79-89-96).
