TUCSON, ARIZ. – The UTEP men’s golf team is in 12th place through 36 holes of the Arizona Invitational on Monday in Tucson.
The Miners, opening their spring season, fired rounds of 296 and 297 for a total of 593. California leads the 14-team field (543).
UTEP’s Tanner Taff is tied for 47th place with a three-over-par 145 (71-74). David Persons is tied for 52nd place (78-69-147), Devin Miertschin is tied for 55th place (73-75-148), Jerry Castrellon is in 64th place (74-79-153) and Ross Rotwein is in 78th place (79-89-168).
The tournament concludes on Tuesday.
