(December 3, 2009, Oklahoma City, OK) – OSU-Oklahoma City invited the public to attend the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony Thursday, December 3 by the campus pond.
“The annual ceremony is an event for local families to celebrate the holiday season,” said Jay Kinzer, Student Services vice president. “Once lit, the tree can be seen from I-44 and brings cheer until the New Year.”
To add to the holiday spirit, the Child Development Center children entertained the crowd with familiar jingles including “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” and “Jingle Bells.”
