Oklahoma horse attempts to break a national record

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma horse, Got Country Grip, will try to set a national record for the most consecutive wins of any racing breed on Saturday, April 19 at Remington Park. Got Country Grip, a five-year-old World Champion Paint from Jones, Okla., has won 16 consecutive races and remains undefeated.

Got Country Grip is currently tied with Thoroughbred greats such as Citation, Cigar, Mister Frisky and Hallowed Dreams. If Got Country Grip wins on April 19, he will have more consecutive wins than any other American horse in history.
