Free Children’s Health Fair at OCCC

Oklahoma City -In conjunction with National Week of the Young Child,the Child Development Center and Lab School on the campus of OCCC isholding a free children’s oral health fair on Saturday, April 19 from9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the college union. Dental and health professionals will be on hand to offer free dentalscreenings and exams as well as nutrition tips and ways to stay healthy.There will also be games and prizes for the children. The OCCC Child Development Center and Lab School was recently honoredas one of the first child care programs in the country to achieveaccreditation under the new National Association for the Education ofYoung Children criteria.  The school received a 100 percent rating onrelationships, health, community relations and leadership andmanagement.The Children’s Health Fair is open to the public and is free forchildren of all ages.
