MOORE — The Moore Public Library will host a Hispanic-themed dance and music festival 2 p.m. April 13 at the library, 225 S Howard.
The event is part of the Pioneer Library System’s The Big Read project and will feature the dance troupe, Las Estrellas Folklorico de Oklahoma.
The group will perform and speak about folk dances from a variety of Hispanic regions. This program is intended to help readers understand cultures like the one depicted in this year’s Big Read novel, “Bless Me, Ultima” by Rudolfo Anaya.
